Refunds and Cancellation

Last updated 7 October 2026

In one paragraph

Every plan starts with 30 days free and no card, so you can decide before you pay anything. Once you are paying, you can cancel at any time from your dashboard and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Within 14 days of any payment you can ask for a full refund, for any reason. After that, if something on our side went wrong, write to us and we will put it right.

The free trial

The trial does not ask for a card and does not turn into a paid subscription by itself. When it ends, you move to the free plan: the grid keeps working and publishing includes 2 posts until you choose a plan. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

Cancelling a subscription

  • Cancel whenever you like, from the Subscription page in your dashboard.
  • Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not cut access off on the day you cancel.
  • Nothing further is charged after you cancel.
  • Your planners, posts and analytics stay in your own Notion database or Airtable base. They are yours, and cancelling does not touch them.

A full refund within 14 days

Within 14 days of any payment, you can ask for a full refund, for any reason, whether or not you have used Ninecast in that time. No questions, no partial amounts.

The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, who process our payments. To ask for one, email support@getninecast.com from your account address, or reply to your Stripe receipt.

Your statutory right to cancel (consumers)

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and the equivalent EU rules, give you 14 days from the start of a subscription to cancel it for any reason and get your money back.

Our 14-day refund above already gives you more than this: the whole amount back, even if you have used the service. The statutory right still stands on its own, and nothing on this page reduces it.

To use this right, email support@getninecast.com from your account address within 14 days, saying you want to cancel. A sentence is enough. We will acknowledge it and refund to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving it.

When we refund beyond that

We refund without argument when the fault is ours. In practice that means:

  • The service was substantially unavailable for a meaningful part of a billing period.
  • You were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or charged on a plan you did not choose.
  • A defect on our side stopped your posts publishing and you told us at the time.

After the first 14 days, we do not generally refund a part-month simply because a subscription went unused, and we cannot refund for a platform’s own decision — an Instagram outage, or a post that Instagram itself rejects. Those limits never override your statutory rights, and if you think a case is genuinely ours to fix, write to us and say so.

Faulty service

Separately from anything above, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says a digital service must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or a price reduction. Nothing on this page limits that.

How to reach us

Email support@getninecast.com. We answer within two working days, and a person reads it. If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may be able to take it to your local consumer body; in the UK that is Citizens Advice, who can refer it to Trading Standards.

The full agreement is in the Terms of Service.
