The problem is not the posting
Posting takes a minute. What eats an agency’s margin is everything around it: exporting assets from wherever they were made, screenshotting a grid to show the client what the month will look like, waiting for approval in an email thread, then doing it all again because a date moved. Each client adds another copy of that loop.
Ninecast removes the loop by putting the grid, the publishing and the results in the place the client already looks: their own Notion or Airtable workspace.
How it works for an agency
- One planner per client. Each client gets a content calendar database (yours, or the free Ninecast template) and a planner link. Paste the link into their workspace and a real three-across Instagram grid appears beside the calendar, updating within a second of any change.
- Approval where the work is. The client opens the page they already use and sees the month laid out as it will look on their profile: carousels with their slide counts, Reels, dates and all. No login, no attachment that is stale by the time it is read.
- Publishing from the calendar. Connect the client’s Instagram professional account to their planner, switch on auto-post, and every row goes out at its scheduled date and time. Or publish a single tile by hand.
- Results back in the calendar. Every night, Ninecast reads each published post’s likes, comments, shares, saves, reach and views from Instagram and writes them into the row that produced it. A button fetches them on demand.
What that changes
- Nothing bleeds between clients. Each planner has its own link and its own connected account. A client sees their planner only.
- Reporting is a Notion view. The numbers are already in columns, so a monthly report is a filter and a rollup, not an afternoon in Instagram Insights.
- Clients see the work, not just the invoice. A month of content laid out properly, in their own workspace, is the easiest retention argument there is.
- Capacity stops scaling with headcount. Nobody opens Instagram to post, and nobody re-exports anything when a date changes.
What it does not do
It is honest to say. Ninecast publishes to Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok today, so choose it for what it does now. It has no comment inbox and no ad tools. It is a planner, a publisher and a scorekeeper, inside the workspace you already have. If your agency needs unified inboxes or paid social, you will pair it with something else for those.
Pricing for agencies
The Studio plan is $25 a month, or $20 a month billed yearly, for 6 content planners, with every social platform on each. Creator, at $15 a month, covers 3 planners for smaller teams. Paid plans start with 30 days free and no card, and each client’s grid preview stays free forever. See all plans, or read the ten-minute setup guide. Running the accounts yourself rather than for clients is the same product, set up for one person.
Questions that follow
What is the best way for a social media agency to manage several clients in Notion?
Give each client their own content calendar database and put a Ninecast planner beside it. Each planner has its own link and its own connected Instagram account, shows the month as a real grid, publishes on schedule, and writes the results back into that client's rows. The Studio plan covers 6 planners, with every social platform on each; past that, we build an Agency plan with you.
Can my clients approve content without logging into anything?
Yes. The planner lives on a page in the Notion or Airtable workspace you already share with the client, so they review the month as a grid where they already work. There is no Ninecast login for them to create; the page is the review.
Does it post to Instagram automatically for every client?
Yes. Each planner has its own auto-post switch and its own connected Instagram professional account. Rows publish at their scheduled date and time: feed posts, carousels and Reels. A newly connected account starts with auto-post off, so connecting never publishes anything by itself.
How do I report results to clients?
Ninecast writes likes, comments, shares, saves, reach and views into the same Notion row that produced each post, every night and on demand. Your reporting becomes a Notion view or rollup over columns that are already filled in, with nothing exported from Instagram by hand.
How much does it cost for an agency?
The Studio plan is $25 a month, or $20 a month billed yearly, for 6 content planners, with every social platform on each. Creator, at $15 a month, covers 3 planners for smaller teams.
Do I have to move my clients out of the tools they already use?
No. Ninecast reads the Notion database or Airtable base as it is, with column mapping for whatever the fields are called. The client keeps their calendar; the grid, publishing and analytics are added beside it.
