Publishing
- Auto-post sends each post at the date in your calendar. Off, nothing goes out on its own and you press Post now on a post's card instead.
- Connect social accounts is where each platform is linked. Every post goes to the accounts in its Platforms column, or to all of them when that column is empty.
- Trial reels decides what happens to an Instagram trial reel: shared with your followers when it does well, or left for you to share yourself.
Your columns
Ninecast reads the database you already have, whatever its columns are called. Under Columns you tell it which one holds what: the post name, the scheduled date, the media, the caption, the status and the platforms. It remembers each column even after you rename it.
Optional columns turn on more: a Post type column for reels, stories and carousels, a Canva link column to post a Canva design as it is, and a Published link column where the live post's address is written back. For Instagram, likes, comments, saves, reach and views can be written back too.
How the grid looks
- Grid order follows your dates, or your own manual order when you drag posts around.
- Hide completed posts and Hide deleted posts keep the grid to what is still coming.
- Show post details and Show highlights add the caption preview and your highlight row.

Where are my Ninecast settings?
Inside your planner. Open the page in Notion or Airtable where the grid is, and press Settings at the top of the grid. There is no separate dashboard to log in to.
How do I stop posts going out automatically?
Turn Auto-post off in Settings. Nothing then publishes on its own; you post each one yourself with Post now on its card.
My grid stopped showing a column. What happened?
A renamed or deleted column in your database. Open Settings, then Columns, and pick the column again. Ninecast follows renames by itself; a deleted column needs choosing again.
Which platforms can I connect?
Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok. Connect them from Settings under Connect social accounts.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
Settings, then Subscription, which opens your plans. If you pay, Manage billing is there, for your card, invoices, switching plan and cancelling.
